On 3/21, World Down Syndrome Day, the DSAA is hosting an Over 21 Fundraiser and Silent Auction. It is also an opportunity to meet three adults who have Down syndrome and are living and thriving in Atlanta. One of our guests is Lori Berger Bryan.
Lori Berger Bryan is the daughter of the fierce advocate and mother, Robyn Berger. Robyn raised Lori to believe that she could do anything she set her mind to and she should have every opportunity that her other neurotypical kids would have. Robyn was told to institutionalize her daughter because she was born with Down Syndrome. Robyn said absolutely NOT and so they say, "the rest is history."Read more
