Unfortunately our update of Gracie's Law is that we have no update. Before COVID-19 put the Georgia General Assembly on hold, Gracie's Law - to end organ transplant discrimination for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities as well as those experiencing mental health issues - had passed the House and
was assigned to committee in the Senate. We do not have direction yet on what to expect for the legislative session. The Gracie's Law coalition - The Arc Georgia, Down Syndrome Association of Atlanta, and Georgia Council on Developmental Disabilities will share information as it is received.
