Georgia Down Syndrome Consortium

What Really Matters WorkshopTogether we can do more! That is why the Down Syndrome Association of Atlanta, GiGi's Playhouse, the National Down Syndrome Congress, the Adult Disability Medical Home, and Emory Down Syndrome Center are partnering as the Georgia Down Syndrome Consortium to join forces on key programs and initiatives to serve the Down syndrome community in Georgia. After all, we are all in this together!

To kick-off this consortium, we are hosting a workshop on March 9 from 10:30 to noon.

What Really Matters?

As parents, we are bombarded with information, to do list items, therapies and more but what really matters? What should we focus on and when?

This workshop will focus on answering the What, Why, How and When questions parents have.

We will discuss the top 5 concerns parents discuss with developmental pediatricians: Vision, Hearing, Sleep, Eating, Talking and other Behaviors, Therapy and Interventions, and how to prepare for the transition to adult services.

There is something for every age group.
