Similar to stories of other parents who had a child with Down syndrome at the time that Evan was born, his parents were given a grim outlook for husband life. If anyone knows Janice Nodvin, she couldn’t do anything but take on the challenge to prove those doctors wrong. Janice became an advocate for Evan to ensure he got all the opportunity offered to her other children. He graduated Chamblee High School in the class of 2000. Now, Evan is a thriving young man with his own apartment, a long-time job, a girlfriend and lots of recreational activities. He is also quite the self-advocate! Evan will be a panelist at our 3/21 Over 21 Cocktail Party.Read more
