Join us for a screening of the film 6,000 Waiting on World Down Syndrome Day, Sunday March 21st at 8 pm. The film tells the story of three Georgians and their fight to access Now/Comp Waiver funding that would allow them to live life on their own terms. The 30 minute film will be followed by a Q&A session and panel discussion of individuals who have the waiver and those that are still waiting.
6,000 Waiting was created by The Storytelling Project of the Georgia Council on Developmental Disabilities, in partnership with L’Arche Atlanta.
Hosted by the Georgia Down Syndrome Consortium; RSVP here.
