Funds raised from the walk for DSAA in 2014 were used to provide immediate information and assistance to new parents and to families through educational seminars, social events, monthly networking groups for moms and dads, scholarships for camps and conferences and education materials and resources to the community. Additionally, monies raised at Buddy Walk fully fund the Adult Down Syndrome Clinic, significantly fund the Emory Down Syndrome Clinic, as well as provide financial support to GiGi’s Playhouse, Habima Theatre, Corrigan Care and other related charities.
We’re working hard to make this year’s walk the best yet, and look forward to sharing the day with all our families!
